Wanda, Rodney, and his mom, Mrs. Bates, I am so sorry for your loss. I have prayed that our loving heavenly father, Jehovah God, help you through this hard time. God loves us and He cares about our feelings. In Romans 8:38, 39 God tells us that not even death can separate us from His love. For that reason, Jesus tells us in John 5:28, 29 that he will resurrect all those in the grave and that some of these will obtain everlasting life. They will be judged by Jesus whether they are worthy or not, but in Revelation chapter 20, he tells us that his basis for judging is NOT what they did when they were alive, but on whether they are obedient to a new book opened AFTER they come back. Revelation chapter 21 tells of a whole new world where they will live, where God will dwell with mankind and do away with death, sorrow, tears and pain.
