Obituary of Freeda Miller Adams

Freeda Lee Adams, age 93, of Detroit, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Adams was born September 28, 1924, in Bagwell to Jim Park and Laura Raglin Miller.  She was a member of the Detroit First Christian Church, Detroit Garden Club, Detroit “42” Club and the Angels Nursing Associating.  Freeda was a loving wife, mother and enjoyed all sporting events.  If a game broke out, everyone wanted Freeda on their team. She married Dale Adams in 1942. He preceded her in death along with her daughter, Patsy Brazzil, her grandson, Jerry Dean Boulware; two brothers, Wayne Miller and Joel Miller; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra Adams.

 

The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCain officiating.  Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

 

Pallbearers are Jerry Miller, Wayne Miller, Jamie Miller, Dale Miller, James David Hoffman, Blake Horton,Daniel Smith and Gene Adams.

 

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Adams; her daughters, Elizabeth Boulware and husband, Don, Mary Jim Woods and husband, Joe Lynn and Dorothy Jean Roberts; her sister, Frances Ann Adams; her grandchildren, Lisa Giardina, Stephanie Crocker, Laura Sanderson, Misti Ranjbar, Polly Horton, Gina Swaim, Chayanna Miller and Chasey Brown; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
