Obituary of Randy Posey

Randy Len Posey, age 49, of Clarksville, passed away, Monday, July 9, 2018, at his residence.  Randy loved being in the log woods and was owner of Randy Posey Logging.  He loved hunting and visiting with his friends.  Randy enjoyed spending special times with his son, Preston.  He looked forward every year being at the Posey Annual Reunion which Randy recently got up and running again.   Randy was born, April 30, 1969, in Paris to Archie Clinton and Ruthie Johnson Posey, Sr.  He attended Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and was a 1987 graduate of Clarksville High School.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis McClintic officiating.  Burial will follow at Boxelder Cemetery, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Ruthie Ross and husband, Harvey of Boxelder; his son, Preston Posey of Novice; 2 sisters, Linda Carol Martin of Clarksville and Angie Posey of Boxelder; brothers, Clint Posey and wife, Melissa of Avery, James Posey and wife, Jackie of Malta and Charlie Hines of Clarksville; step brother, C.W. Hines of Detroit; several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
