I am so sorry for your loss. I loved her so much and have so many fond memories of her growing up. She was my Mamaw's best friend and she always felt like family to me. I know my Daddy and Uncle Johnny thought the world of her as well. I was so glad that i got to see her at my Mamaw's funeral. I always thought she was such a pretty lady and always had such a kind soothing voice. OH, and I always thought she had the most beautiful handwriting I had ever seen! I will never forget her.

It saddens me to learn of Ms. Wanda’s passing. She was a very dear friend of mine and pen-pal for several years. Even if we hadn’t sent anything in some time, we always made sure to send each other a Christmas card each year. It will be something I will miss dearly this coming season.
Ms. Wanda and I struck up our friendship several years ago when she realized who my grandparents were (Ben & Virginia Bowers), and in my knowing her brother, Bobby, who was always at the Mabry Homecoming each year. My grandparents loved her dearly, as she did them, and their friendship carried on through us.
I will keep the family in my prayers in the coming days, but there is much peace and comfort in knowing where she is now.
May you rest in love, my dear friend...
