Obituary of Betty Lambert Kernodle

Betty Ruth Lambert Kernodle, age 77, of Euless, formerly of Avery, passed away, Monday, October 11, 2010, in Arlington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Kernodle was born October 10, 1933, in Haworth, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Sudie Collvins Lambert. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Kernodle, a brother, Lev. L. “Bunk” Lambert; and a sister, Geraldine Lambert. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Deanie Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Serving as Pallbearers are Sammy Lowrence, Jason Lambert, Adam Lambert, Matt Lambert, Larry Lambert, Lynn Lambert, Donald Kernodle, Jr. and Dustin Harris. Survivors include a son, Donald Kernodle and wife Joanne of Trenton, Tennessee; two daughters, Melody Kernodle Birdsinger of Euless and Judy Harris Parker and husband Bill of Euless; grandchildren, Donald Kernodle, Jr., Dustin Harris, Sarah Birdsinger and David Kernodle; her great grandchild son, Dakota Kernodle; her sister, Peggy Lowrance and husband Glenn of Idabel, Oklahoma; a sister in law, Maudie Lambert of Maud; two brothers, Deanie Lambert and wife Shirley of Avery and Sammy Lambert and wife Mary of Avery; several nieces, nephews and friends.
