Obituary of Barbara Wages

Barbara Wages, age 71, of Avery, passed away, Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center.  Barbara was born, March 2, 1947, in Brandon, Mississippi to John Alvin and Nancy Louise Taylor.  She loved fishing and would sit all day without a nibble.  Barbara loved taking care of her family, especially her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. 

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Hunt and Rev. John Purviance officiating.  Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Wages, Sr. of Avery; 2 sons, Bobby Wages, Jr. of Cuthand and Donnie Gentry of Bogata; 1 daughter, Tina Gentry of bogata; 1 sister, Nancy Lewis of Clarksville; grandchildren, Joshua, D.J. and Dustin Gentry and wife, Caitlin; great grandchildren, Janson, Lawler, Kinsley and Ashley Gentry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
