Obituary of Patricia Anne Cogburn

Patricia Anne Thompson Cogburn, age 82, of Winter Garden , Florida, formerly of Detroit, passed away, Monday, May 21, 2018, at Quality Healthcare Center.  Mrs. Cogburn was born, December 22, 1936, in Montebello Rural, California to Robert Ed and Mamie May Foster Thompson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cogburn; and 8 siblings.  Mrs. Cogburn was very active in her communities where she lived.

Funeral services are set for 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018, at the Detroit Church of Christ with Joshua Kasinger officiating.  Burial will follow in Youngs Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the Church.

She is survived by 3 sons, William Cogburn and wife, Patti of Winter Garden, Florida, Michael Cogburn and wife, Janet of Fairfax, Virginia and Wesley Cogburn and wife, Susan of Columbus;  her daughter, Michelle Cogburn of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
