Obituary of Bergis Calvin England

Bergis Calvin England, age 64, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010, in Paris, Texas. Mr. England was born May 3, 1946, in DeKalb, to Otis and Joyce Smith George. Mr. England was the owner of Save-More Furniture in Clarksville and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville. He was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father, Melvin England. Survivors include his wife, Gail England of Clarksville; son Christopher England of Clarksville; daughter, Megan and husband Robert Childres of Avery; his mother Joyce England of New Boston, and three grandchildren, Jaden Childres, Adyn Childres, and Christian England. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Dodson and Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Cemetery in Nash, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
