Obituary of Rena Fay Childres

Rena Fay Childres, age 95, of the Lone Star Community, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Clarksville Nursing Center.

Mrs. Childres  was born October 10, 1922, in Garvin, Oklahoma to Sam Cockrell and Grace Hill.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Childres and daughter, Allic Johnson.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Lone Star Methodist Church.

Funeral services are set for 3:00p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Lone Star Methodist Church with Rev. Don Shovan and Rev. Dink Benton officiating.  Burial will follow in Lone Star Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, John Childres and wife Linda of Lone Star; and 6 grandchildren, Joel Miller, Shad Miller, Lisa Dill, Joe Grimes, Michael Grimes and Hollis Grimes.
