Obituary of Ricky Joe Long

Ricky Joe Long, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at his residence.

Ricky was born January 14, 1953, in Clarksville to James Tilson and Anita Crocker Long.  His parents and niece, Kelsey Reed preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday May 4, 2018, at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis McClintic officiating.  Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers are; Racy Long, Chase Long, Raymond Long, Levi Long, Jimmy Calvert and Charlie Hines.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Cox Long, of Clarksville; his 2 sons, Racy Long and wife, Lisa of Clarksville and Chase Long of Clarksville; his daughter, Jerri Calvert and husband, Jimmy of Allen; his sister, Rhonda Lesher and husband, Mark of Mt. Pleasant; his brother, Raymond Long and wife, Janice of Clarksville; 4 grandchildren, Harlee Long, Makynli Long, Leo Calvert and Ella Calvert and numerous nieces and nephews.
