Dave King was my father. I only knew him till he deserted our family when I was six years old, leaving three boys and a wife with no help financially or otherwise. He was troubled emotionally and lived the rest of his days drifting through failed marriages; three I counted last. I wish could say nice things about Dave, but instead I will say inspite of his life, his distructive legacy ends with him. My brothers and I live healthy and successfull lives with good families we love and names we are proud of. Although we may look like him we are nothing like him and I'm glad this chapter of our lives is over.
