Obituary of Teresa Mauldin Nix

Teresa Lynn Mauldin Nix , age 55, of Bagwell, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,Tuesday,February 2, 2016. Teresa was born July 6, 1960, in Clarksville to Jimmy and Betty Brown Mauldin. Teresa was a Christian and a member of Aikin Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former Sunday school teacher and an LVN. Her kindness could be felt by all. She married Daniel Nix of Clarksville on December 8, 1979. Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Lee Mauldin; and her sister, Danita Mauldin Ross. Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016, in Bogata Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her parents, Jimmy and Betty Mauldin of Avery; her husband, Daniel Nix of Bagwell; her son, Brian Nix and wife, Ashley of Wright City, Oklahoma; her daughter, Shawna Nix of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Landon and Kaylee Nix; her brother, Jim Mauldin of Idabel, Oklahoma; her sisters, Becky Mitchell and husband, Shawn of Avery and Nicole Martizez and husband, Juan of College Station; brother in law, David Nix of Clarksville; sister in law, Carolyn Durham of Clarksville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
