Obituary of Hazel Dean Phillips

Hazel Dean Mitchell Phillips, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away, Saturday, January 30, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Phillips was born July 11, 1925, in Frogville, Oklahoma to Harrison and Rosie Moore Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Allen Phillips; and 2 sons, Jimmy Wayne Phillips and Joe Don Phillips. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tony Boyett, Sr., Tony Boyett, Jr., Kelly Phillips, Jeffery Phillips Charles Lafferty and Joey Phillips. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her son, Gary Phillips and wife, Cathy of Clarksville; her daughters, Linda Singleton and husband, Freddy of Ft. Worth and Gloria Foltz and husband, John of Clarksville; her sister, Ann Roberts of New Boston; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
