Obituary of Mary Ellen Scaff

Mary Ellen Scaff, age 91, of Odessa, formerly of Red River County, passed away, Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Odessa. Mrs. Scaff was born June 4, 1924, in Clarksville to Jack David and Nancy Carolyn Carter Parks. Mary Ellen was Salutatorian of the 1942 class of Clarksville High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Martin Scaff; sister, Daphine Arnold; and brothers, Jack Parks and Claude Parks. Mary Ellen was member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Scaff loved people, her family and her church. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Bro. Buddy Eddins will officiate. Burial will follow in New Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her sons, George Scaff of Odessa and Don Scaff and wife, Kathy of Ft. Worth; her sister, Hazel Kelty and husband, Jimmy of Clarksville; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
