Obituary of Paul Thomas Hall

Paul Hall, age 88, of Bagwell, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016, at Paris Healthcare Center. Mr. Hall was born June 26, 1927, in Blakney Community to Alfred Franklin and Mary Buena Pittman Hall. He was a deacon in the Baptist Church from 1976 to 1991. Paul was a truck driver for 31 years, from 1959 to 1990, he was also a ranch foreman from 1953 to 1958. The family wants to thank all health care workers and church volunteers for all the wonderful service over the years. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella Mae Hall; his brother, William Hall and his three sisters, Catherine Erwin, Bell Weaver and Lois Crook. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral services are set for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his son, Thomas Gregory Hall and wife, Wendy of Ft. Worth; 2 daughters, Sandra Ruth Hall Oates and husband, James of Round Rock and Paula Kaye Hall of Reno; 3 grandchildren, Kenneth Paul Oates and wife, Kristine of Iowa Park, Jerrilyn Kaye Stringer and husband, Eddie of Pflugerville and Jason Lee Simpler of Ft. Worth and 2 great grandchildren, Jack Ettry “Ace” Oates and Makailyn Rylee Stringer.
