I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother and father always made me feel so special. Your mom reached out to my family and made us feel welcome when we moved to Annona. I will never forget her big smile, laugh, and hugs. I still have one of her pie recipes. She touched many lives with her kindness. She certainly holds a special place in my heart.

I met Mrs. Shimpock when I was 6 years old and attending 1st Baptist Church of Annona. We sat behind all the little ladies that came every Sunday. I remember Mrs. Shimpock leading the choir on may occasion. She was one of the happiest people I have ever known. I'm 52 years old now.....and I can still hear her singing. You never know whose life you might touch.

Oh, what a wonderful life she had and how blessed we are for having known her. Her quilts and cooking are legendary.... I compare every fried pie I eat to those delicious ones she made (especially apricot, yummmmm). So sorry for your loss but I know you are happy she is home now and suffering no more. Love and hugs to all of you.
