Obituary of Jackie Gamble

Jacqueleen Joye Howland Gamble, age 90, of Round Rock, passed away October 18, 2015, at her residence. Jackie was born April 12, 1925, in Clarksville to C.V. and Belle Howland. Over the years Jackie and her husband Arthur Forrest Gamble operated several movie theaters, owned a drive in restaurant and sold real estate. She was active in high school band boosters, the American Cancer Society and the Eastern Star. Jackie enjoyed flower gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one grandson, Michael Brian May. Survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra May and Sharron McGee; 1 son, Trey Gamble; 5 grandchildren, Dawn Cramer, Frankie Kasper, Taylor Gamble and Harmon Gamble; 7 great grandchildren, Heather May, Crystal Nguyen, Mandi Cramer, Lauren Cramer, Brittni Sherwood, Joseph Sherwood and Nicolas Sherwood. Funeral Services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, October, 23, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
