Obituary of Thomas McCarver

Thomas McCarver, age 68, of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Thomas was born, October 24, 1946, in Deport to Tom and Georgia Gallander McCarver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Clarksville Church of God. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Chris Leffel; a granddaughter, Darby Payne ; and a sister, Myrl McCarver. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m.,Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Clarksville Church of God with Rev. Charles Brown and Rev. David Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Debbie Quinilty McCarver of Clarksville;5 sons, Robert McCarver, Michael Leffel, Thomas McCarver, Jr., Doug McCarver and Isaac McCarver all of Clarksville; daughters, Jackie Welch of Clarksville, Georgia Graham and husband, Doug of Garvin, Oklahoma and Janie Payne and husband, Jimmy of Detroit; 1 sister, Annie Gaines of Paris; 1 brother, Bobby McCarver and wife, Margie of Denison; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
