Obituary of Billy Royce Edwards

Billy Royce Edwards, age 83, of Lavon, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Baylor Hospital Dallas. Billy was born March 29, 1932, in Detroit to Ed and Nancy Davidson Edwards. Billy enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing and loved his friends and family very much. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife Peggy Edwards and 4 brothers, Charles, Jerry, Bobby and John Edwards. The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2015, from 7:00 to 8:00p.m. at Clarksville Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Cogburn officiating. Burial will follow in Detroit Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Edwards and Beatrice Sanchez of Garland and Marty Edwards and wife, Susan of Lavon; 3 sisters, Frances Nero of Dallas, Mary Bedel of Dallas and Betty Beal and husband, Johnny of Blossom; one brother, Ned Edwards of Payne Springs; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Marshall, Caitlyn Edwards, Austin Edwards, Candace Sanchez and Eric Sanchez and 5 great grandchildren, Presley, Julien, Solomon, Jaycob and Jaxon.
