Obituary of Doris Rae McDuffie

Mrs. Doris Rae McDuffie, age 86, of Annona, passed away, Saturday, May 30, 2015, at a Texarkana Care Facility. Mrs. McDuffie was born January 13, 1929, in Annona the daughter of Raymond and Inis Caviness Geary. Doris graduated from North Texas State University and then the University of Texas Pharmacy School. She was a retired Parmacist and was a member of the Annona First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Doris loved the Lord and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbard McDuffie, Jr.; and her parents. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Chapelwood Cemetery in Nash. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service at Clarksville Funeral Home. She is survived by a host of beloved cousins, family and friends.
