Obituary of Walter Mitchell

Walter Mitchell, age 90, of Annona, passed away May 1, 2015, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mr. Mitchell was born January 12, 1924, in Atoka, Oklahoma to J.M. and Myrtle Chitwood Mitchell. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Lee Mitchell. Survivors include his nephews, Mike Mitchell of Avery, Gary Mitchell of Granbury, Keith Mitchell of Peach Tree City, Georgia, Danny McBride of Louisiana, Jimmy Crook, Bobby Crook, Ross Mitchell of Clarksville and Pat Mitchell of Texarkana; his nieces, Nadine Leffel of Clarksville, Reginia Drybread of Bisby, Arkanasas Delmaya Austin of Mesquite and Betty of Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
