Obituary of Justin Lee Holt

Staff Sgt. Justin Lee Holt, age 31, passed away, Friday, February 6, 2015, at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Justin was born September 3, 1983, in Paris to Robert and Judy Davidson Holt. He was of the Baptist faith. Justin graduated from Pittsburg High School in 2002 and joined the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bravo Troop 2-1 CAV Company 4th ID and stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado. Justin served in Kuwait, 4 years in Germany and had 2 tours in Iraq. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Travis “Buddy” Davidson. Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. James Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Clarksville Funeral Home. The procession will be led by the Patriot Guard. Survivors include his father, Robert Holt of Hagensport; his mother, Judy Holt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his grandmother, Evelyn Davidson of Deport; 2 children, Kayden Joshua Cummings and Morgan Lee Holt; 1 sister, Adrian Henry of Deport; step-sister, Beth Deal of Purley; 2 brothers, Shannon Sessums of Bogata and Joshua Holt of Victoria; and 1 step-brother, Joe Holt of Dallas.
