Obituary of Ella Mae Trissell
Ella Mae Roese Trissell, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2015, at Regency Nursing Center.
Ella Mae was born in the Washington Community on October 14, 1926, the daughter of Julius and Olga Boenker Roese. She married JD Trissell in the Bryan Air Force Base Chapel on September 19, 1952. Mrs. Trissell co- owned and operated Trissell Flying Service for over 50 years, worked with the Red River Chapter of the American Cancer Society for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, JD Trissell; her son Michael Trissell; her sisters, Peggy Roese and Ollie Jean Newman; her brothers Glenn and Raymond Roese; her sister-in-law Louise Roese and her brother-in-law Doug Newman.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2014, at Brewster Cemetery with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial is under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandchildren and nephews.
She is survived by her daughters, Reba Trissell Anderson of Texarkana and Jennifer Trissell of Denton; her daughter-in-law Sandra Trissell of Houston; her sons Thomas Trissell of Clarksville and John Trissell and wife Marlene of Aubrey; her grandchildren, Brandon Anderson of Yanis, Damon Anderson and wife Christina of Sedona, Az., Michael Trissell of Houston, Rebecca Trissell and John Trissell of Aubrey; her great grandchildren, Hunter Anderson and Dilan Anderson of Sedona, Az.; her sister, Betty Jo Roese Jordan of Houston; her brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Pearl Roese of Washington; her sister-in-law, Frances Roese of Washington and her aunt Mary Martin of Cotulla.
