Obituary of Helen Parks

Helen Parks, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away, Friday, January 30, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Parks was born May 30, 1925, in the Johntown Community of Red River County to Jack and Annie Kidd Hancock. She retired from the Piggly – Wiggly bookkeeping office in Clarksville and was of the Baptist Church. Her husband, Ballard Wayne Parks and a sister, Louise Perry preceded her in death. Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Fairview Cemetery with Tracy Williams and Mike Kellam officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Shane Davis, Dale Hines, Paul Fulbright and Mike Kellam. Survivors include her son, Jack Parks of Clarksville; her daughter, Suzanne Parks of Clarksville; grandchildren, Amber Davis and husband, Shane of Avery and Camille Hines and husband, Dale of Clarksville; great grandchildren, Hannah and Sara Davis of Avery and Ashley Hines of Clarksville; and 1 great-great grandchild, Kashtyn Hines.
