Obituary of Inis Louise Johnson

Inis Louise Kelley Johnson, age 86, formerly of Red River County, passed away, Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at her residence in Irving. Mrs. Johnson was born September 9, 1928, in the Fulbright Community to William David and Maggie Elrod Hicks. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Johnson and Lester Kelley; a son, Curtis Wayne Hill; a step-son, James Kelley; and a step-daughter, Jo Coil. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Crosswright officiating. Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Bill Fredrick, Wade Denton, Ian Hill, Aaron Duncan, Wesley Higgs and Kenneth Johnson. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include 4 daughters, Jessie Denniston of Carthage, Edith Hill Fredrick and husband, Bill of Indiana, Barbara Kelley of Irving and Geneva Owen and husband, Clay of Powderly; 2 step-daughters, Sue Cobb of Avery and Joyce Persky of Deerborn, Illinois; and numerous grandchildren.
