Obituary of Roland Williams

Roland Lee Williams, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away, Thursday, January 1, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born September 5, 1937, in Clarksville to Roland and Willie Mays Williams. The family has scheduled a Memorial Service for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the “RR” Cowboy Church with Tracy Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shirley Smith Williams of the home; 1 son, Mickey Williams of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Michelle Moreno of Jarrell and Melanie Matheny of Pensacola, Florida; 2 brothers, Bobby Williams of Greenville and Walter Williams of La Grange; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
