Obituary of Ophelia Hunt

Ophelia Hunt, age 89, of Bagwell, passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Regency Nursing Center. Mrs. Hunt was born January 10, 1915, in Watonga, Oklahoma to Richard and Lorene Fulfer Hinsley. She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Elmer Brumley, Bill Lynch and Dewey Hunt; 1 son, Jimmie Brumely;1 sister, Louise Fodge; 1 brother, James Hinsley; 1 sister, Onita Richie; 1 granddaughter, Janet Brumley; and 1 great-great grandson, Brayden Larue. She was of the Baptist faith. Funeral Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Karl Bush and Larry Hinsley officiating. Burial will follow in Blanton Creek Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include her sons, Robert Brumely of Paris, Charles Brumely of Paris and John Brumley and wife, Lydia of San Angelo; her daughters, Paula Murphy and husband, Mike of Bagwell, Peggy Smith and husband, Jimmy of Detroit, Velvet Winkle of Bogata and Evangeline Brumley of Denton; her sisters, Vesta Pitts of Post, Laverne Hiser of Lubbock, Lula Bell Bishop and husband, James of Canadian; her brothers, Raymond Hinsley and wife, Pat of Dallas, Tommy Hinsley and wife, Barbara of Flower Mound, Elmer Lee Hinsley and wife, Shirley of Arizona, David Hinsley of Michigan, Donnie Hinsley and wife Kay of Wellington; and numerous grandchildren.
