Obituary of Jean Goodwin

Jean Goodwin, age 77, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, October 09, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Goodwin was born, November 29, 1936, in Red River County to Claude and Eva Dorer Phelps. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Goodwin; her grandson, Jeremy Dwayne Gaddis; her sisters, Louise Hodgson and Mary McPeak; and her brother, W.A. “Bunkem” Phelps. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Wilson Weed officiating. Burial will follow in Madras Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Bubba Durant, Eddie Stiles, Jayden Goodwin, Bob Morton, Chad Goodwin and Jody Runyan. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Skinner, Harrell Totty, Wayne Hines, Wendle Jones, John Blankenship and Austin Gaddis. Survivors include her children; Brenda Gaddis of Clarksville, Barbara Totty and husband, Harrell of DeKalb, Johnny Goodwin and wife, Julie of Murchison , and Jeff Goodwin of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Steven Gaddis and wife Salena, Billy Gaddis, Lee Goodwin, Lacy Goodwin, Justin Totty and wife, Sandy, Dana Eubanks and husband, Troy; her great-grandchildren, Austin Gaddis, Bobby Gaddis, Jayden Goodwin, Madison Gaddis, Billy Tutt, Bryan Eubanks, Reagan Eubanks, Easton Totty and Jacob and Rylee; and her sisters, Juanita Blankinship and Faye Scott.
