I always loved running into this wonderful man. He always had a smile on his face and most of the time he was with his lovely wife. You could tell that they were still so in love and truly enjoyed each others company and were simply put, best friends. He was always one for a good joke or a great story and i am so happy that i had the time or took the time to listen to this man. They just don't make them like him anymore. I am so sorry for your loss Mrs.McDuffie, i know you miss him dearly.

Hubbard was a great friend to everyone. He never met a stranger and loved all kiddos he could give candy to. Our sympathy to Doris and family. TJ and Paula Higgins

My heart is heavy this morning as I learned last night of the passing of a very special man. Mr. Hubbard McDuffie has gone on to that big basketball game in the sky! He was a darling of a man...always a gentleman, so kind, such a wonderful sense of humor, always had a kind word for everyone he met! He was so good to me when Charles died. As he did with many widowed women in our area, he called and offered to come help me thru some of the financial aspects after the funeral. He always loved to be around the kids and grown-ups as well. Not to mention the fact that he was an awesome athlete, playing basketball into his late 80s, I believe, umpiring for years and years! Of course,He, also, directed Red River Credit Union for as long as I can remember until just 2 or 3 years ago. Rest in Peace!

I could not say enough about this good man and what he means to me. But I would like to add to his obit about his military service during WW II in a transport command.. I read last night in Martha Sue Stroud's book, "For Love of Country" It is 3 full pages of his early life and details of his flying activities, flying many transport mission from Europe to Japan in war time in a very difficult combat and storm (thypoon) environment. Prays for my friend , Doris.

Truly, one of the greatest human beings to ever walk God's earth! Remember the first time I met mr. Mcduffie. We were playing a basketball game for a school fundraiser. He made 9 three pointers. I believe he was 77 at the time! God bless all of his family and friends. Your impact and kindness to people will never be forgotten!
