I just received a note about Jimmy's death, and wanted to send my condolences to Ruth's and Jimmy's family, his sister Lou Ann and husband Ed, Jimmy's brother Steve and wife Betty, and all Jimmy's extended family. Having been a close friend of both Jimmy and Ruth while growing up in Clarksville, so many wonderful memories of times past come to mind. Such memories are treasures, which have enriched the lives of so many of us. Not only was it a wonderful time and place for us to grow up together, but it was a wonderful time in the history of our hometown of Clarksville, and in our country. I cherish our friendship and those times together, and believe those to have been among our greatest blessings. Rest well, dear friend, and thanks for the memories! Billie Ruth & Pete Garmon
