Obituary of Margaret Smolenski

Margaret Hulen Smolenski, age 94, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away March 30, 2014, at Heritage Plaza Nursing Center. Mrs. Smolenski was born April 21, 1919, in Clarksville to William and Frances Lela Harris Hulen. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Floyd and Charles Hulen; and her sisters, Nadine Davis and Marie Phillips. Survivors include her son, Martin Smolenski and wife, Anna Mary from Toledo, Ohio; her grandchildren, Craig and Michael Smolenski; her great-grandchildren, Austin and Emily Smolenski, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 4. 2014, in Detroit Cemetery with Rev. Tim Strebeck officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
