Obituary of Wanda Crockett

Wanda Crockett, age 81, formerly of Clarksville, passed away, Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Mrs. Crockett was born November 6, 1932, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Holly and Jewel Thomas Alexander. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. “Davy” Crocket; her son, Keith Crockett; and her brothers, Ondell and Jurna Alexander. Graveside services are set for 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Brewster Cemetery with Steve Marx officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters, Beth Crockett of Commerce and Lisa Sparkman of Olive Branch, Mississippi; her brothers, Jay Alexander of Idabel, Oklahoma and Ulverd Alexander of Vernon; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
