Obituary of John Mark McGuire

John Mark McGuire, age 61, of Clarksville, passed away, February 11, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his family. John was born December 19, 1952, in Clarksville to Oran Floyd and Eula Mae Tackett McGuire. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1971 and was a member of the Aikin Grove Missionary Baptist Church. John married Jeannie Duffee on August 18, 1973. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown and Rev. Richard Crawford officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in New Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Eddie Moyer, Chuck Darden , Ray Hutchinson, Joey Berry, Jacob King and Scott King. Honorary Pallbearers are Tracy Williams, Burlie Pedigo, Kacy Moyer, Alan Hale, Morris Mauldin and Mike Kellam. Survivors include his wife of forty years Jeannie McGuire of Clarksville; daughter, Heather Jackson and fiance Mike Ray of Blossom; son, Heath McGuire of Clarksville; grandsons, Tyler, Jace and Logan Jackson and Kagan and Austin McGuire; brothers, Bill McGuire and wife Diane and Floyd McGuire and wife Betty of Clarksville; sister, Linda Pond and husband Keith of Clarksville; aunts, Dorothy Tackett of Clarksville and Helen Quisenberry of Texarkana, Arkansas ; a mother –in-law, Sue Wiley of Clarksville; a special brother-in-law, Don Duffee of Boyle, Mississippi; special cousin, Betty Starek, several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Regina Stewart, Reba Duke and Eddie and Ginger Moyer.
