Obituary of Jesse Dean Barrett

Jesse Dean Barrett, age 57, of Reno, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in Decatur, Texas. Jesse was born December 23, 1956, in Houston to Jessie L. and Billie Thompson Barrett. Jesse worked for OFI Trucking and was a member of the Bogata Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Barrett. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the Bogata Assembly of God Church with Rev. Daniel Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8, at Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Allen of Reno; his parents, Jessie L. and Billie Barrett of Bogata; one son, Colton Barrett of Alabama; one step-son, Carey Allen of Faught; one daughter, Jennifer Barrett of Conroe; one step-daughter, Cheylanne Thomas of Reno; one sister, Wanda Watkins of Winnsboro; two brothers, Keith Barrett of Cuthand, Roy Barrett of Austin; and five grandchildren, Gregory and Lizzie Goolsby, Bailee Clark, Catlyn Exum and Jacob Thomas.
