Never will forget the roar and gynormus cheer that came up thru the Clarksville stands the night Harold kick the game winning field goal that beat Marty Wayland (All State Jr. year) & Jefferson who were at that time a State Ranked team. Harold was a winner and hard as nails. When Mt. St. Helens blew it's top decades ago Harold was one of the few helicopter captins who was brave enough to fly people out of danger. ( have you any idea of how dangerous flying a helicopter in those conditions would be ??) Harold wanted to be a heroic and he was or is... I also know that Harold is with Jesus. [ any of you remember Harold & Bryants fight back in '62) wow They were Men back then Proud to be his friend, Bill Steven Hale

My prayers are with the family. Got to know Harold Ray about 25 years ago. We had a great infinity for each other. Infinity was the word that Harold Ray used to describe our relationship. Harold Ray you are at peace now and live in a better place. I will remember only the good times and and let the bad times go Guess we can continue the 99 years lease in heaven. Always, Your Fred

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Harold Ray Ward. He was a very loving and caring man. So blessed for my special friend and former co - worker . Always so cheerful and loving. I can truly say that I was blessed to have him as a family friend . When I think of family I think of Ray. He is now in a better place and having his reunion with family and friends . I bet Ms Virgie was waiting at the door welcoming him home. Ray, you have gone to a better place but your memories will be in our hearts forever. Prayers for the family during this difficult time .
