Obituary of Bettie Gene Robertson

Bettie Gene Robertson, age 69, of Paris, passed away January 23, 2014, at Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Bettie was born January 6, 1945, in Avery to Herman and Ruth Bell Lewis. She was a loving wife and one of a kind to her family. Bettie will be loved and dearly missed by her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Patricia Lewis and one brother John Lewis. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Avery Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Wages and Rev. Kellin Warren officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Loyd Lewis, Jade Lewis, Tommy Lewis, Harold Lewis, B. J. Gentry and Dustin Gentry. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, George “Jerry” Robertson of Paris; one sister, Anita Sweatman and husband Troy of De Queen, Arkansas; one brother, Harold Lewis and wife Diane of Avery; one sister-in-law, Nancy Lewis of Clarksville and numerous nieces and nephews.
