Obituary of Jimmy Wayne Goodwin

Jimmy Goodwin, age 62, of Lydia, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014, at his residence. Jimmy was born May 17, 1951, in Clarksville to Lee Carl and Edith Faye Cockerham Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jo Ann Davis and four brothers, Robert Goodwin, Billy Goodwin, James Donald and Douglas McArthur. Funeral services are set for 2:00p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Madres Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his ex-wife Pam Smith; 2 sons, Jessie Goodwin of Avery and James Goodwin of Lydia; one daughter, Tammy Goodwin Hawkins of Dalby Springs; 8 sisters, Berty Fay Fortenberry, Nancy Allston, Sally Branscom, Polly Newton, Lucille Phelps, Laura Martin, Susan Crook and Joyce Morrow and 7 grandchildren, Samantha Hawkins, Sarah Hawkins, Zeke Goodwin, Luca Goodwin, Dakota Goodwin, Harley Goodwin and Dodge Goodwin.
