I loved and respected Bennie as my second dad when I was growing up and friends with his son Charles Michael. He always had a quick smile, and treated me so well. He will be missed much. I always enjoyed dropping by to visit him in Avery, he always would make you feel welcome in his home. One thing I will always remember is how close this family was and still is. Farewell to the "Silver Fox" (is what he went by on the CB radio in years past) you are at your 10-20 now. 10-4 and out sir.
