I know your Mom liked me just as much as I did her. I've always felt like I was in or ' OK ' with her. that's always been a neat-oh-super cool tha'ng for me. As a kid to me your parents were cool before it was really cool to be cool.

I met Bettie and Robert in 1988 when I worked in the Texa General Land Office. Bettie and I have been friends all this time, so I am really grieving about losing her. I loved to hear her talk about the time she lived in Clarksville. In fact once we visited Clarksville. I had one of the best times of my life with her. We shared many experiences together as friends do. There will never be another like Bettie. The only comfort I have is that she is with Robert. Farewell old friend, rest in peace until we meet again. Love always your friend Wanda.

To the Family of Bettie Dobson Storey with love and sympathy: I grew up knowing Bettie, Robert, her twin Billie, and the families of both Bettie and Robert. Those were wonderful days in Clarksville for us to grow up. My husband, "Pete" was in the graduating class of 1946, one of three classes that have continued having reunions together for a number of years. So, we've had some special times together at those reunions. Bettie worked tirelessly to make the reunions special, and they were! The years growing up in Clarksville, and all the wonderful people living there, set wonderful examples. Members of my own graduating class of 1949 mention often that it was an idyllic time and place for children to grow up -- and for this we are always grateful. Wish we could be there Sunday for the services. I also have many memories of the First Presbyterian Church and Reverend Joe Everhart, pastor for many of those years; and Martha Lennox in that church lead our Girl Scouts. Thankful for special years, times, memories, friends -- and especially for Bettie's special friendship. Our sincere sympathy to all of you in Bettie's family. ~ Billie Ruth & Pete
