Obituary of Rebecca Jean Jackson

The family of Rebecca Jean Stout Jackson is rejoicing with her as she has joined her loved ones in Heaven. She was born November 27, 1928, and passed from this life on October 12, 2013. She was the daughter of Hollie and Betty Stout. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.J. Jackson, her daughter-in-law, Donna Sue Haltom Irvin and a grandson, Zack Mayben in addition to other special family members including her sisters, Greta Bowers and Mary Stout and her brother, Travis Stout. Family was very important to Jean. Left to honor her memory are her children: Jimmy Irvin and Rick Irvin, Linda Halley and David Jackson; her grandchildren, Brian, Brad and Shannon Irvin and Phillip and Brandon Irvin, Aaron and Josh Jackson and Micah Eady. She leaves 15 great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews who were all very dear to her. She was a member of Avery Church of Christ for the 30 plus years she lived in Avery. She was a retired beautician who lived and operated a shop in Nash, TX where she raised her sons and attended the Church of Christ. The family is especially thankful for the love and caring shown her by Mary Ross and Brenda Cox. Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday, October, 14, 2013, at Richland Cemetery in the Brinker Community of Hopkins County with Joe Bowers and other family members officiating.
