Obituary of Joyce Whitsell

Joyce Whitsell, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at Regency Nursing Center. Joyce was born November 5, 1941, in Houston to Herbert Ralph and Myrtle Wilson. She retired from Gordon Jewerly Company in Houston and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Annona Cemetery with Rev. John David Griffith under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday night from 5 to 7, at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Charles Whitsell of Clarksville; two sons, Terry Whitsell of Chicago, Illinois and Charles Whitsell of Henderson; 1 daughter, Daronda Modena of Paris, two sisters and two brothers.
