Obituary of Johnny William Brewer

John W. Brewer, age 72, of Avery, passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Brewer was born November 21, 1940, in Tom, Oklahoma to John and Ruby Brewer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He retired from the Red River Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Daisy Reppond Brewer; his sister, Betty Jean Hathaway; and his brother, Mark Brewer. Pallbearers are Rein Brewer, Kyle Kelsoe, Bobby Howell, Mike Reppond, Doyle Reppond and Sidney Arnold. Honorary Pallbearer is Rickey Brewer II. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gilliam Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Survivors include a son, Rickey Brewer and wife, Virginia of Avery; 2 grandchildren, Rickey Brewer, II and wife Leeann and Rein Brewer; 2 great grandchildren, Ryder and Reili Brewer; 2 sisters, Debbie Carlton and husband Mike of McAlester, Oklahoma and Gayla Nash and husband Ed of McAlester, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Johnny Brewer and wife Elizabeth of McAlester, Oklahoma.
