Obituary of Louise Lawson

Louise Lawson, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at ETMC Clarksville. Louise was born November 15, 1926, in Avery to Ira Lee and Mae Martin Cherry. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church. Louise was a very loving mother and grandmother and had many friends that all loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband P.A. Collvins and her second husband Joe Lawson. She is survived by her son, Larry Collvins and wife Jo of Guyman, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, James Cherry of De Kalb, Bill Cherry and wife Anette of Avery and Randy Cherry and wife Linda of De Kalb; 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Olan Pumphrey officiating. Private family burial will follow at Annona Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
