Obituary of Carolyn June Strader

Carolyn June Terry Strader, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away, Saturday, February 09, 2013, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Carolyn was born July 11, 1938, in Clarksville to Mark Pete “June” and Gladys Davis Terry, Jr. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1956, and married Kenneth Strader on June 1, 1957, in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked for both the First National and Citizen’s Banks in Clarksville and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Strader of Clarksville; 1 son, Ken Strader and wife Debbie of Garland; 2 daughters, Kathi Cheatham and husband Craig of Frisco and Nancy Smith and husband Ken of Mesquite; 1 sister, Linda Clark and husband Jim of Clarksville; 1 brother, Mark Terry and wife Brenda of Paris; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
