Pam and Mike & Family, We are so sorry to hear about Mike. Bobbie had kept up with what was happening and knew that his condition was critical. We would like to have been at the visitation tonight or the service tomorrow but I had a class tonight and Bobbie has a commitment at UMW tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you. Would love to be there to just give you all BIG HUGS. Jim & Bobbie Baker

I'm so sorry to hear about Mike. Working with him at Paris junior college, I learned of his kindness and patience. He was an excellent teacher who cared about his students. He was just simply a wonderful person

Pam, I am sorry to hear about Mike. He was a very talented musician, and just a great person to know. I was in the first class that he taught at CJHS, and while he did make certain that we were learning math, he made the class fun. The t.v. series Welcome Back Kotter was very popular at the time and Mike always laughed when we called him Mr. Kotter (just as long as we did not do the Horshak 'Oooh Oooh Oooh!' during a test!!). Just many, many fun and fond memories of Mike. Susan Pace George
