Obituary of Dissie Leona Johnson

Dissie Leona Johnson, age 82, of Boxelder, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at her daughters residence in Bagwell.  Dissie was born, October 28, 1936, in Boxelder to Jimmie and Ruthie Kelley Johnson.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Her parents; two brothers, Junior Johnson and Jimmie David Johnson; and a nephew, Randy Posey preceded her in death. 

Graveside services are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Boxelder Cemetery with Rev. Dennis McClintic officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Thursday at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Leona Burnett and husband, Ronny of Bagwell; her son, Phillip Barton of Clarksville; her sister, Ruthie Ross and husband, Harvey of Boxelder; her brothers, M.C. Johnson and Donnie both of Boxelder, four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are, Chasity Coleman, Lacy Molina, Shady Davis, Stacy Coleman, Steven Davis, Rowdy Barton and Erasmo “E.Z.” Molina, Jr.
