Obituary of Walter Earl Little

Walter Earl Little, age 75, of Avery, passed away, Tuesday, May 07, 2019, at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana.  Walter was born, January 8, 1944, in Clarksville to Willie Hershel “Buster” and Addie Lee Webb Little.  He was a 1962 graduate of Avery High School and was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church.  His parents preceded him in death.  Walter enjoyed being in the outdoors.  Some of his hobbies were hunting, fishing, taking camping trips to Colorado and he even raced and won many Motocross races.  He also loved picking on his guitar and being in his circle of friends.  Walter was proud of his many guns that he had collected through the years, especially his pistols.  If you knew him, he would always let you know he had one close by! On Sundays you could usually find Walter sitting in front of his Television watching PBR Bull Riding or the Dallas Cowboys.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Roddy Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow in Avery Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Curley Russ, John Holloway, David Phelps, Jimmy Chapman, Kenneth Chapman, Brent Little, Chris Little and Tim Downs.
