Obituary of Kolby Todd Fletcher

Kolby Todd “Tut” Fletcher, age 18, of the Lone Star Community, passed away, unexpectedly, Friday, February 15, 2019.  Tut was born, February 15, 2001, in Mt. Pleasant to Michael Lynn and Deanna Leigh Tippit Fletcher.  He was a senior at Rivercrest High School.  To know Tut was to love him.  He had a smile that would light up the room and never met a stranger.  Tut loved with his whole heart and was well loved in return.  His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him.  He was a very active young man, whether playing football, shooting sports or participating in FFA.  Tut loved trading on Swap Shop and was known as being a grease monkey!  He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Bonnye Gage, Mary Lee and Edgar Tippit, Jack and Daisy Morgan; and grandfather, Toliver Fletcher.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan and Rev. John Purviance officiating.  Burial will follow in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Bubba Simpson, Morgan Smith, Mark Gable, Dakota Tippit, John Hawley and Reese Jessee.

Honorary Pallbearers are Malcom Weemes, Baylor Augustus, Will Purviance, Bow Willis, R.C. Pitts, Todd Simpson,  and the 2019 Senior Class at Rivercrest High School.

Tut is survived by his mother, Deanna Fletcher of the Lone Star Community; his father, Michael “Monk” Fletcher of Detroit; one sister, Shelby Fletcher; the love of his life, Taylor Anderson; grandparents, Ron and Jerri Dee Tippit and Sue Fletcher; great grandfather, Blanton Gage; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Red River County 4H Shooting Sports.  402 N. Cedar St. Clarksville, Texas 75426.
