Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss but so excited for Freeda that she gets to meet our Savior. I am praying for comfort for all of you, during this time. Thanks to my Aunt Mary Jim, I was able to know Freeda and visit her throughout my childhood years. She always treated me and my sister like we were her own grandchildren. I always felt loved when I was around her so I can imagine that her departure from earth has impacted many. Love, Tina Woods

I am truly sorry for your loss. Aunt Freeda was a loving and a wonderful person. I am positive Aunt Freeda and my mom [Belle Pearson] are playing 42 and having a grand old time in heaven. Every time I would come to Detroit to see mom it was always fun to see what those two had been up to. She will be missed by us all. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray you are comforted with the hope we have in Christ. Love, Angie "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." - I Thess.4:13-17, NIV
